How to Report an Error

Please include as much detail as possible so we can verify quickly:

  • The page URL and the exact sentence/figure in question.
  • A suggested source (ideally an official circular/FAQ from RBI, CBDT, SEBI, MoF, etc.).
  • Your name and a way to contact you (optional).

Send it via our Contact form or email sevafundsofficial@gmail.com.

Our Correction Process

  • Review: We verify reported issues against primary sources.
  • Fix: Confirmed factual errors are corrected; wording is clarified if needed.
  • Disclosure: Material corrections are noted on the page under an Updates or Corrections heading with the date.
  • Minor edits: Typos/formatting are fixed without a note.
  • Target timeline: within 48 hours for factual corrections after verification.

Regulatory changes: When rules/rates change, we update the article and add an “Updated:” note with the date and summary of the change.

What Counts as a “Material” Change?

  • New tax rates, limits, or deadlines affecting examples or conclusions.
  • Correcting a wrong section number or regulator reference.
  • Rewriting a recommendation due to a verified rule change.

Changelog Format (Used on Articles)

At the end of updated articles, we add an item like:

  • Updated: 19 Sept 2025 — Added RBI e-mandate note for recurring payments.
  • Corrected: 14 Sept 2025 — Section updated to 80CCD(1B); examples recalculated.
